This system allows you to register one or multiple abandoned nests of species listed in Schedule 1 of the Migratory Birds Regulations, 2022. 

The Regulations set limits for carbon dioxide emissions from electricity generating units that burn fossil fuels and meeting the applicability criteria, starting in 2035.

Clean Electricity Regulations (CER)

The FPR is designed to improve understanding of plastics across their lifecycle through a phased approach. In Phase 1, reporting is limited to plastic products manufactured, imported and placed on the Canadian market, specifically plastic packaging, electronic and electrical equipment, and single-use or disposable products destined for the residential waste stream. Reporting on resin manufacturing and importing, waste generation and end-of-life management is expected to be addressed in future phases.

The Landfill Gas Survey is a biennial, voluntary submission of landfill and landfill gas collection data to support Canada's greenhouse gas inventory and policy development.

The Landfill Methane Regulations require certain landfills that have received municipal solid waste to: control methane emissions; monitor the landfill surface, landfill gas monitoring wells and landfill gas management systems; and take action within specified timelines to resolve exceedances of surface methane concentration limits or address methane leaks in equipment.

The Regulatory Services Platform (RSP) is the new online service for Migratory Game Bird Hunting (MGBH) e-permits. The MGBH service will be available on this platform beginning July 23, 2026. Hunters may create or access their GCKey and user accounts and become familiar with the platform in advance of the permit sales period. 2026 MGBH e-permits will be available for purchase starting August 1, 2026. Thank you for your patience as we transition to the new service.

These Regulations prohibit the manufacture, use, sale, and import of certain toxic substances, and products containing them, with a limited number of exemptions.

Operators of facilities subject to the Regulations must install, inspect, maintain and repair equipment to ensure adequate emissions control of petroleum liquid storage tanks and loading racks, as well as record-keeping and reporting.
